Common questions
For clippers
What do I need to start clipping?
A ClipRails account, the TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account you post from, connected to ClipRails, and payout setup in a supported country.
When do I earn as a clipper?
Approved clips that meet the requirements earn at the campaign CPM from 2,000 new views since submission. Booked earnings never expire. Clippers cover payout fees; these never reduce the campaign budget.
How are views verified?
Submissions come from connected accounts. For new submissions, we use the first count after 7 days minus the count at submission, with a minimum of 0. Views from before submission do not count; the wait gives the platform time to remove bot views.
How do I get paid?
After the view check, each clip's payout moves to your payout account on its own, with no minimum and after the 6% payout fee. The bank payout follows as a separate step.
What if a clip gets deleted?
If the post is unavailable on the measurement date, its views do not count and it earns nothing.
For creators
What does ClipRails cost?
A platform fee of 8% is added to your budget and shown at checkout. The full campaign budget is secured before launch.
What happens to unused budget?
Once no clip still holds budget, the remainder is refunded with its share of the platform fee.
